ShockwaveTherapy A modern and highly effective treatment method in Maple Ridge: Shockwaves accelerate the healing process by stimulating metabolism and enhancing blood circulation. This innovative and scientifically proven treatment allows damaged tissues to regenerate and eventually heal, particularly in cases where the body has been unable to do it on its own.
SpinalDecompression Spinal Decompression is the therapeutic elongation of the spine in a slow, gentle manner in order to relieve pressure on compressed vertebrae and discs. Spinal decompression is a safe, painless and comfortable procedure that can be used to treat a variety of neck and back conditions.
ManualTherapy Most of our treatment programs involve a component of manual therapy. The term manual therapy relates to any type of the “hands-on” techniques that are performed by the therapist, including joint manipulation/mobilization, spinal manipulation/mobilization, myofascial release, deep friction massage, cranio-sacral therapy and spinal decompression.
Acupuncture Our Physiotherapists are certified by the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (AFCI) to provide acupuncture. This gentle insertion of hair-thin, sterilized needles into specific points on the body is used to enhance healing
ActiveRehabilitation Active rehabilitation is a proactive approach where the client takes an active role in their rehabilitation process. Our physiotherapists and kinesiologists work together to design a customized program for each client, given their specific goals and abilities. Sessions are carried out in our private gym.
