Growing up, Zahra loved playing sports and spending time outdoors. Her love for sports led her to study kinesiology and graduate with a Bachelor in Kinesiology. Zahra loves what she does and has a decade of experience in active rehabilitation. She creates individualized and progressive exercise programs for her clients that allow them to move their bodies better. She also loves educating clients on how to effectively use proper muscles and body mechanics to help improve body function and reduce pain. Zahra has experience working with various population and age groups. She has volunteered within the community and in the hospital as an activity coordinator. She worked with stroke and cardiac patients and helped assist and design rehabilitation programs.
Zahra always wants to improve her skills and takes continuing education courses to allow her to provide the best care towards her clients. She has completed courses regarding functional assessment of the spine and extremities as well as courses on advanced exercise prescription.
Outside of the clinic, you can find Zahra in her garden, playing with her two boys, cycling, hiking, or hitting the trails for a nice jog!
Zahra works 3 days a week:
- Tuesdays 2pm to 7pm
- Thursdays 2pm to 7pm
- Saturdays 8am to 2pm
