Kate Grant

B.Sc.Kin, M.Sc.PT

Kate completed her Bachelor of Science “with distinction”, with a major in Kinesiology, at Simon Fraser University in 2021, worked as a Kinesiologist for 8 months prior to starting the Physiotherapy program at the University of Alberta, and received her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy in 2024.Kate always had a love for sports and fitness since she was young, playing hockey, soccer, track & field, etc. Hockey was always her favourite though.

After experiencing her own struggles with concussions, which started with hockey, Kate had to take some time between high school and post-secondary to heal. This gave her some time to indulge in work and hobbies and think about what comes next. Kate’s passion for health & fitness, an appreciation for the rehab journey, and a newfound sense of purpose in helping others in a healthcare role helped fuel her into pursuing a career in Physical Therapy.

Kate has experience in functional anatomy, advanced exercise programming, injury recovery, and a special interest in concussion rehabilitation, to which she plans to expand her knowledge further through continuing education and coursework.

Kate believes in a client-centered approach, creating an individualized program that aligns with your specific goals and values. With an emphasis on education and self-empowerment, Kate is dedicated to helping you return to the activities you love and improve your overall quality of life.

Outside of the clinic, Kate enjoys running and hiking along the beautiful nature trails in the lower mainland, watching hockey, exploring new cafes and restaurants, and enjoying all things pop culture.

Kate works 3 days a week:

  • Mondays 7am-1pm
  • Thursdays 2pm-7pm
  • Fridays 2pm-7pm
